This one looked more menacing than most others. He had the face of a street fighter and a wicked looking green tail.

His underbite told everyone in no uncertain terms whatsoever to back off. That of course meant that I had to be even slower in my crawling approach. I really (and I mean REALLY!) wanted to get into macro range and get his eyes.

Fighter retreated, leaving me without macro shots or whip marks. Just as well, I had forgotten to bring my macro lens to the beach that day and was shooting with a tele zoom instead.
